David Mickler broke his neck on Christmas Eve in 1989 and has since been unable to use his hands or legs. Here, he is shown petting his service dog Joy at his home in Wilmington on Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2007, during an interview with the Star-News.
I'm not really sure what I think of this photo. I think you are really working less visual assignments, but I feel like the composition takes away from the information. Maybe I'm just thinking to conservative anymore...I can always appreciate style, but lately I've been trying to make my photos stronger with content than with design.
I agree with Justin on this. I'm glad you posted the last two photos together because they're indicative of the same problem. I think you've put too much emphasis on composition and have backed off the content a little. Its a good looking frame, but I'm not sure if the story is a about a dude in wheelchair, or mirror's or how this guy like to sit in a wheel chair and look at a mirror.... We all know you can make a pretty picture so stop showing off.

All right maybe that was harsh. Nice job on a crappy interview assignment.
