This is from a freshmen team-building exercise. The reporter on site asked me to try to make sure the photo showed the school's atmosphere...so naturally I found a frame that worked in a complete void.
you really can't help being a compulsive smart ass, can you? I guess if particles of nitrogen and oxygen count, you've got atmosphere nailed. All kidding aside, the photo definitely reads team building but I don't get too much sense of college life. And for the pickum photos, although her facial expression is more animated with arms up, the other one better communicates what is going on.
Mike..I like this frame a lot. It's a nice job of making an interesting photo out of an pretty uninteresting assignment. Also, good job at not listening to the reporter...sometimes its nice just to make a picture that makes people stop and look...and if the reporters are lucky, read their stories.
